Free Viewer is a powerful file opening utility that supports nearly 100 different file formats, including Microsoft Office (.docx, .xlsx, .pptx, .doc, .xls), Open Office, Word Perfect and PDF, as well as various archive, media and image formats. Once you install Free Viewer it will automatically associate itself with any supported file types for which you currently don't have any viewers installed. You can further customize the file associations by selecting which file types should be opened by FreeViewer instead. In addition to file viewing, the program also supports limited editing functions for some of the supported formats (e.g image resizing, cropping, spreadsheet editing etc.), as well as archive extraction and document conversions.
